Fingerman, Roslyn Weissman, age 90, died March 23, 2013. She was a long-time resident of New Orleans, long-time member of Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation, and lifetime member of Hadassah. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Milton; grandson, Seth; parents, Issac and Esther Weissman; brothers, Joe, Sam, and Morris Weissman; and sister, Sadie Hochberg. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Fingerman (Laura); son, Dr. Irwin Fingerman (Cathy); granddaughter, Shera Fingerman; grandson, Levi Fingerman; and sister, Dorothy Katz. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Beth Moses Cemetery in Long Island, NY, with Cantor Kathy Barr officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Congregation Shir Chadash, Jewish Family Services of New Orleans, Collat Jewish Family Services of Birmingham, or the American Lung Association.
