Age 81, of Birmingham, AL, passed away February 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Benjamin G. Mitchell.
She is survived by her sons, Donald H. Moore (Delores) of Homewood and Gary L. Moore (Fonda) of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Douglas Moore and Grant Moore of Homewood, and Brooke Moore Coulson (Ben) and Courtney Moore Hullihen (Stephen) of Phoenix, AZ; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother, Grady Langley (Glenda) of Aragon, GA.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Rittenhouse Senior Living for their compassionate care. A devoted wife, mother and sister, she always reminded us, even in bad times, that God is in control and to trust in Him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Johns-Ridout’s Funeral Parlors, Southside Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery
