Bill was a very creative and bright visionary leader.

The world is a better place because of his contributions and leadership.

I am thankful for being able to know and work with Bill at Complete Health and MACESS.

As Vandy freshmen, Bill and I both walked on with the football team, I as a manager/trainer and Bill as a lineman. He was a brilliant, interesting guy, and I am sad to learn of his unexpected death.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Bill was more than just a customer who bought lights from me, he was a wonderful man and my favorite customer. He will be missed.

Bill was the reason I joined MACESS, where we all learned so much from his vision, passion, and excellence. Now, up in Nashville, I am on the advisory board for the engineering department that bears his name--his generosity here in the Vanderbilt community is legendary. He reached so many of us in so many ways, and we all are better from knowing him and working with him.

Dear Carolyn:
I was making a sales call to Birmingham and the gentlemam I was speaking with, Al Simmons, was aware of Bill's passing. I was shocked, especially after just receiving the beautiful Christmas card. Mary and I so enjoyed our brief visit in Nashville this fall. I am so glad we made the effort to meet.
My heart goes out to you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers. I was looking forward to knowing you both better.

I was so sorry that I was unable to attend Bill's service. We had fun in class at Ramsey, and fun talking. What a legacy he leaves. This time of year is especially hard, but God needed his help. Mike will certainly be surprised to see him, and I'm sure they will have lots to talk about
