age 57, of Gardendale, AL, passed away 7/14/13. He was preceded by his father, Dan Winton. Bill is survived by his wife, Darlene Chism Winston; daughter, Courtney Winston; son, Jason Peterson (Leigh Ann); grandsons: Carson and Landon Peterson; mother, Suzanne Winston (NY); and sister Diane Winston (CA). Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was admired by everyone he encountered and will be deeply missed… he balanced us all and he was SATF. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Temple Emanu-El from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donations to be made to the Foundation Fighting Blindness at www.blindness.org.
