

He was born in East orange and grew up there before moving to Bloomfield. He was the starter/ manager of the E. Orange Golf Course from 1976 until his retirement in 2014. He made many life-long friends while working there.
Anthony was admired through his life for his giant heart and the love he had for his family. He was a true patriarch in every sense of the word. His world revolved around his family and nothing in his life was more important than them and his dog, Princess. Anthony was a diehard Packers fan and will be sorely missed by both family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneral home.net),145 Harrison Street, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Friday, May 22nd from 2-5pm with a service at 4:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family, in Anthony’s memory, would be appreciated.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife, of 23 years, Joyce (nee Giangrande) ; siblings, Maria, Anna, Catherine, Joanne, Phil and Rosa, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and godchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Chiara and Donato Patarino.
