I first met you and Rose in 1973 after my mom/your Aunt Sophia came out for vacation to West Babylon, Long Island to visit us. I loved your smile and your upbeat personality. You were firm in your convictions. You were a fighter, in Life and Love and in protecting your children. And I respected you for that. Our condolences for all the Nafies et. al. May you rest in Peace.

I would like to offer my condolences on the loss of your dad. He was my mother's (Marie Elaine Kurdes Homyak) first cousin, and my second cousin. I met him and your mom at my grandfather Matt Kurdes's home may years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. Remember him for the great man, and father he was. All of the guidance and love he bestowed on you. You never really recover from the loss you just learn to live with it. Take each day slowly and allow yourself to recover and adjust. He is not gone as he will live on in your memories and your heart.

The first time David called me,his fun positive personality came shing through. We caught up on year's worth of family new's. I admired him for holding on to the hope that one day he'd be out of that bed and breathing fresh air enjoying all that life, family and friends were able to have. He never complained he just looked forward to the simple things that most of us take for granted. You taught me to have patience, hope in all things possible, and love, that our families are all connected no matter the distance or the time without communication. RIP my dear cousin and dance with your beloved Rose in heaven...
