Elisa Russo

Elisa was born in Castello / Avellino, Italy and came to the United States in 1957. She lived in Newark for many years before moving to West Orange 24 years ago.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 – 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), on Thursday at 8:45 am followed by a mass at 10:00 am at St. Lucy’s Church, Newark. The entombment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Surviving are her loving children, Luigi Russo and his wife, Adele, Filomena Santaniello and her husband, Livio, and Carmine Russo and his wife, Bertha, and daughter in law, Linda Russo; dear sister, Francesca Riccardi and brother in law Antonio Presidio; 9 cherished grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Pascquale Russo in 1971; siblings, Fiore Di Giacamo, Bianca Presidio and Elisa Di Giacamo.
