Frank Franzi

Frank Franzi, 86, of Brick, passed away on Jan. 20, 2012 at Ocean Medical Ctr., Brick. Frank worked for Lionel Trains and he was the owner / operator of Pioneer Liquors in Belleville for many years before his retirement. He was a veteran of the US Army.

Surviving are his wife, Rose; his children, Maryann Maglione and her husband, Richard and John Paragano; sister, Frances Bellasalma; brother Joseph Franzi; grandchildren, Danielle Balena and Denise Lobosco and great grandson, Connor Cherney. He was predeceased by his first wife, Helen Franzi, parents, Maria (Messinese) and Joseph Franzi and a brother Dave Franzi.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, on Wednesday at 9:30 am followed by a mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville at 10:30am. The burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield, Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 – 9 pm.
