Joseph Frank Priolo

Joseph F. Priolo, also known as Joey, passed away on April 19, 2020 at Clara Maas hospital in Belleville. He was 76 years old. He was born in Glen Ridge, NJ and lived in Bloomfield for most of his life with his wife of 50 years Janet Priolo nee Bocchino and his two daughters Kristen and Erica Priolo. Joey worked for the Star Ledger for 30 years and retired in 2009. Joey was a proud family man who loved to play golf and was an avid Yankee’s fan. He loved old Western shows, Sunday family dinners, and had a great sense of humor. He will forever be missed by all his friends and his family. Joey was predeceased by his father Anthony and Josephine Priolo and his younger brother Phillip Priolo. Surviving are his wife Janet Priolo, daughters, Kristen Priolo, and Erica Priolo and her husband John Remner, brothers Anthony Priolo, and his wife Sylvia, and Charles Priolo, and his wife Donna, and many nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the service at Zarro Funeral H2ome was private.
