Lila M. Ventrella

Lila Marie Ventrella, 61, died on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. She was born and raised in Newark and has lived in Nutley for the past 20 years. Lila was an administrative assistant for I.T.T. in Secaucus.

Surviving are her devoted siblings, Lorraine Ulrich and her late husband, Mel, Joanne Switendale and her husband, Allen, and Anthony Ventrella and his wife, Christine; nephew, Al Switendale and niece, Stephanie Nemec, 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Zarro Funeral Home (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Nutley. The entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Pk. Cemetery, Union. Visitation will be on Thursday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MS Society, PO Box F, Belmar, NJ 07719 in her memory would be appreciated.
