Lucy S. Mesce

Visitation will be on Friday from 9-11 am followed by a service at the funeral home. Arrangements from the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield. The interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover.

She was born in Newark, lived in Caldwell and Belleville before moving to Toms River. She worked as a tax assessor for the township of Montclair for many years.

Lucy is survived by her loving children and their spouses, William Jr. and Maribel Mesce and Thomas and Tammi Mesce; siblings, Gloria “Chickie” Granese and Pasquale Liloia; cherished grandchildren, Cathryn, Gabriella, Nathan and Matthew and great grandson, Vincent.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Mesce and siblings, Josephine Esposito, Marie Zannetti, Louise Liloia and Angelo Liloia.
