Lydia Swinesburg ( Smith), 90, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at Bartley Healthcare Nursing Home in Jackson. She was housekeeper for the Job Haines Nursing Home in Bloomfield for 25 years prior to retirement.
Lydia is survived by her devoted children, Edward A. Swinesburg of Effort, PA, Karen Rivera of Hamilton, NJ, and Raymond C. Swinesburg of Belleville, NJ; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net) 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, on Friday at 9:00am followed by a service at 10:00 am at Bethany Lutheran Church, Belleville. The burial will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-9 pm.
