Raymond Gambacorta

Raymond Armand Gambacorta, 86, of Belleville, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Lyons VA Hospital, Lyons, NJ. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, January 27 from 10am to noon followed by a service at Agape Church, Bloomfield. The cremation will be private.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. Kindly omit flowers. He was employed by the Essex County Parks Commission as a senior park maintenance worker. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War, as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia (nee Zoppi); daughters, Loren Gambacorta-Florio and her husband, Dr. John and Karen Mascellino; grandchildren, Michael and Dr. Eric Mascellino, Gabriella and Isabella Florio. He was predeceased by his parents, Marion (nee Saverino) and Stephen Gambacorta and his siblings, Vincent Gambacorta, Louise Sostituto and Florence Gambacorta.
