
Thomas DiBiase, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020, at the age of 74. Tom was born and raised in Newark, and later lived in Belleville before moving to Union, N.J. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. Upon his discharge, he became a police officer with Essex County, where he served for 26 years before retiring. In his pastimes he loved following his sports, trotters at the Meadowlands and especially the NY Yankees. He enjoyed showing off his cooking skills while listening to the music he liked so much: Luciano Pavarotti, Dean Martin - and he really enjoyed being a Sinatra aficionado. Tom was always generous in supporting his community and charities, especially St Jude’s, Boys Town and the AMVETS, to name a few. Tom is survived by his sons Thomas and Michael DiBiase, his brothers Anthony and Robert DiBiase, his sisters Donna Kelty, Laura DiBiase and Ramona Da Costa, and many nieces and nephews. Tom also is survived by his long time life partner, Bobbie Basini, her daughter Laura Evangelista and husband John, and his grandchildren Gianna and Johnny.
