Albert Lewis Knox

Albert was born in Bloomington, CA on September 1, 1926 to Harry and Esther Knox.

He graduated from Colton High School, joined the Army, and then married his high school sweetheart Ione Nauert on February 25, 1945; they were married for over 50 years until her death in 2000. Albert was married to Sally Marnati in 2014 until her death in 2015.

Albert retired as a Motor Carrier Specialist from the California Highway patrol after 33 years. Other jobs Albert held were with Rotolo Brothers Produce as a young man, and then with Rotolo Brothers again as a retiree. Albert also volunteered at Kaiser hospital for several years.

Albert enjoyed volunteering at the hospital, meeting friends for lunch, being involved with the church, playing solitaire, and being with family.

Albert is survived by his granddaughter Teresa Warner (spouse Rick), step-granddaughter Kim Figgins (Randall), Son-in-law Glynn (David) Figgins, great grandchildren Katie Warner, Tyler Warner, and Renee Warner, and many nieces and nephews.

Albert is preceded in death by his wife Ione, 2nd wife Sally, daughters Mary Kathleen, Patricia Figgins, & Shirley Bagwell, grandson Albert Lindberg, and his siblings.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Bloomington Congregational Church 18490 Santa Ana Ave, Bloomington CA. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington CA.
