Nana, I am heartbroken that we grew apart over the last ten years of her life... mainly due to my drug addiction and life-style choices, but I only wish we could have set that aside and made a few new memories before time was up for her.  She was strongly against drug use and pretty much disowned me. I loved her and my Papa more than anyone in my life and will always remember summers at Costa Bella in Rosarito Beach, Xmas in Riverside At uncle Tom and aunt Dorrines house and weekends at the Fisher st house in Highland. I will miss you terribly and look forward to reuniting with you when we ascend together in heaven. I love you with all my heart you will be missed.

My.love will always be a part of my memories of my wonderful Aunt Carole.  When I was 12 she was old but now she has become my beloved and cherished friend.  We honestly shared much from sadness to a wonderful.understanding of life and the ups and downs.  I will treasure our time together forever.  I love ya tons

I remember Carole from my childhood. She was always a friend to me.  She was like an older sister and treated me with kindness and support.  As I got older, I learned of her humor and political beliefs. We set a bet for the State Governor, Ronald Reagan! She won and giggled,  when I bought her her winning prize. She was a gracious winner and loving friend!   

Carole is my Mother In Law. I'm still in denial..I miss her so much. She called me Dorin, I called her Mams or Mamsie. I won't be able to get up & talk about how special she was at her memorial service so I'll honor her by writing a few things down. She was a wonderful mother in law, a great cook & made the most delicious desserts at Christmas. She loved the holidays & cooking & most of all she loved her family. She would tell me stories about growing up in Olivehurst & her mother Rose & her brothers & sisters. Every year on my birthday she would call me and sing Happy Birthday to me. On her birthday, Tom & I would call her & sing to her. She always liked lots of fan fare on her birthday...getting presents & flowers & going out to eat. She also loved going to the Casino. This year on her birthday Tom & I took her to Pechanga. She had so much fun she didn't want to leave so we took her back the next day! A memory I will hold close to my heart & always remember is this..when she got sick a few weeks ago & I was sitting with her at the nursing home (she didn't remember me) she opened her eyes & asked me who my Savior was & I answered that Jesus was my savior.  She stared at me and recited Psalm 23 word for word: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. I was crying by then & said Amen and she repeated Amen and then she closed her eyes. I could go on & on about her. She was such a special person to me. I will just keep the rest of her memories in my heart & to myself. Love you forever Mams!!!!           Dorin 



I remember visiting Carole's house on a number of occasions as a child. She was always warm, welcoming, attentive, and had a very calming demeanor.  Who couldn't love her?  I seem to recall an old housecat that terrorized everyone else, family and visitors alike, but absolutely adored Carole.  Just goes to show you how special she was.     

Carol will be missed by all that knew her.  When I was a young girl Carole took me to school with her  for show and tell LOVE you always!!!

My auntie and I was very close. My favorite memories are having thanksgiving and Christmas with Carole, Tony, Tommy and Dorrine. The best time we had was going to Laughlin once a year with auntie my sisters,daughter ,niece and friends . Auntie will forever be in my heart.
