Was born on November 13, 1984, in Los Angeles, CA to Isaiah Mims Jr. and Joan Mims. He was the only child that they would have together. He was the crowning jewel to their new blended family.
Christopher accepted Christ at the very young age of seven, at Crenshaw Christian Center under the teachings of Pastor Frederick K.C. Price.
On August 24, 2009, Christopher was blessed with his only child, his beautiful daughter, Kaytlin Mims who was the joy of his life.
Christopher’s career was in the field of veterinary medicine. He worked as a veterinary technician for over 10 years and was studying to earn a degree in veterinary medicine. He loved to go fishing whenever he could and studying about the history of his people. He loved to talk about the new and exciting things that he discovered about the history of black people. He loved animals of all kind – even the creepy ones. He had a special place in his heart for anyone in need (that includes animals). He was a gentle soul always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone.
On November 14, 2021, in Lancaster, CA, Christopher departed this life for eternal rest. He will be greatly missed and cherished by his beautiful daughter, Kaytlin Mims, his mother Joan Mims, his siblings Adrian Bell, Aurora Mims, Yolanda Mims, Monique Mims, Brandon Brown and Anthonis Robinson. Christopher also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends to cherish his memory.
