Dario Romero

Dario, was born May 3, 1940, in Fontana, California to the late Florence and Enrique Romero. He had 5 sisters: Lupe, Inez, Julia, Hopie and Josie and 2 brothers, Ricky and Albert. Dario married Lucy in 1966 and had a son, Michael and daughter, Sandra. Dario has 9 grandchildren, Danny, Danielle, Robbie, Joseph, Angelina, Michael, Steven, Jackie, Joey and Xavier. He later married Ruth who went home with the Lord in 1995 and he enjoyed the last several years with his fiancé, Sylvia Hernandez.

Dario lived a full and adventurous life, he wrestled professionally with his brothers and dedicated over 20 years to the Pomona School District as a landscaper. Dario and Sylvia loved to travel on cruise ships. Dario enjoyed the 50s music, dancing and he continued to lift weights throughout his life. His favorite words of encouragement were “No Pain ~ No Gain” and “ Get Your Goal”….

Dario made friends everywhere he went…. He would talk to people like he knew them forever…that is the Spirit of Jesus that lived in him…a true friend.

John 15:12-15

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

Dario, will be truly missed!
