David Allen “Mr. Big Stuff” Borders also known to many of his childhood friends as “Biff” was born October 22, 1970 to Luther and Elvera Borders. David was born in Fontana, CA, raised in Rubidoux, CA. Where he attended and earned his education through the Jurupa Unified School District.
In the early 90’s, David began his relationship with his lifelong partner Sonya Earl. They were blessed with five beautiful children, Jasmine (Jazz), Alexus (Lexx Lexx), David Jr (Baby Dave), Cameron (King Cam) and Bre-Ann (Pretty Bre) Borders. “He never had a love to call his own until they came along”.
David was a hard working entrepreneur, pursuing careers in breeding dogs, selling cars, business investments and so much more… that was David’s need to succeed. David had a passion for fishing, cooking, music (oldies) and the love for cars and guns.
On a typical day you could find David in his neighborhood sharing laughs, love, and spreading his knowledge within his community he was definitely adored and loved by all he knew. If you were ever having a bad day it always seemed as if he jus knew all the right things to say rather it was words of comfort or he’d crack a joke or two just to put a smile on someone’s face, he had one of the biggest hearts and was always willing to do whatever he could to make sure his family and friends were “straight” as he would say.
On Friday, October 20, 2017 the weight of this cold world was finally lifted of his shoulders. God gave him his wings and he then became “Our Ribbon in the sky”.
He leaves behind to carry on his legacy, his mother, “his everything”, Elvera Borders, five sister; Tyjuana “his superwoman” (Chris), Tammy, Evette, Amber and Cindy Borders. Three brothers; Cody, Dontay and Lamonte Borders. One uncle, Aaron Farley, four aunts; Willetta (Bobby) Jones, JanaVie Moore, Gloria Borders and Belita Marquez. Five children; Jasmine (Jonathan), Alexus, David Jr, Cameron and Bre-Ann Borders. The mother of his children “his best friend” Sonya Earl. Three beautiful grandchildren; Janaia (Ny-Ny), Jay’Lynn (Boo) and David (Bry-Bry) and a host of Loving family, Friends, Nieces and Nephews.
After his long battle, He is finally able to Rest in Paradise and be reunited with his “Daddy” Luther Clyde Borders II, his grandmothers’, Lavera (William) Green, Lillian (Granny Goose) Gray, and Barbara Borders; His grandfather, Luther Clyde Borders Sr, his brothers Henry (Hank) Borders and Luther Clyde Borders III (Boo Boo), his uncle Rondey Borders, his aunt, Toni Ragsdale and his grandson Jonathan “Papa” DeCarmo.
