Deborah Lynn Collins was born on October 29, 1952 at Community Hospital in San Bernardino, California, to Bernie and Joyce Cooper. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1970. She married her high-school sweet-heart Johnny Ray Collins on February 12, 1972. Johnny and Debbie shared 40 years of marriage, and to those around them, knew they were deeply in love and truly a match made in Heaven. She welcomed her daughter, Candace Michele in 1974 and her son, John Arren in 1977.
She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She provided child care in her home while her children were growing up, only taking on a part-time job when her youngest went to middle school. Everyone she met, she left a lasting impression, her smile lightened up the room. She was always happy and upbeat, encouraging others to do the same.
In 2010 she started working for Veolia Transportation as a Data Entry Clerk, to not only exceed her job description and take on additional responsibility which she did with happiness. She was still employed with Veolia at the time of her death, where she also touched many co-workers. She enjoyed going to work each morning.
On September 27, 2012, God decided that her time on Earth was done, as he welcomed her into his kingdom with wide open arms. Though we may mourn our loss, we have comfort knowing that she is singing with the angels and no longer in pain.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Johnny of Victorville, parents Bernie and Joyce Cooper of Apple Valley, brother, Randall Cooper of Beaumont, and brother, Kevin Cooper of Yucaipa, daughter Candace Wood of Victorville, and son, John Collins also of Victorville. She had six grandchildren, three boys and three girls. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that loved her very much. She will be missed by all
