Deborah Jean Moore

She was the sixth child born to the late Doyal and Govia Lee Vernon (Rogers). Deborah departed this earthly life in the comfort of her home, on

March 22nd, 2026.

Deborah attended all of her schooling in Fontana, CA. While in high school, she participated in a nursing program and also played softball after school.

She graduated from Fontana High School and went on to complete one year at a community college. She was a long-standing member of Community Baptist Church, located in Fontana, CA.

After high school Deborah met and married Anthony Earl Moore. They went on to have two daughters. Anthony was in the Air Force and as a military wife, Deborah was fortunate to experience traveling the world. While traveling Deborah took a position at a bank and began a short career in banking.

Upon returning to California, she changed careers and began working at Dura Art Stone. While working at their Fontana location, she quickly advanced in the company and was then able to relocate to Georgia and manage that location. Deborah worked with Dura Art Stone for 19 years. She then went on to manage Wausau Tile in Banning, CA before retiring in 2013.

Deborah is preceded in death by her mother and father, her eldest daughter TaLona Moore, her brothers Doyle E. Vernon, Bobby R. Vernon, and John Vernon, and her sisters Glenda Faye Vernon and Donna Curry-Stevenson.

Deborah leaves behind to mourn and cherish her memories, her daughter Kenya Germany (Moore), her son in law Willie Germany, her sister Lynda Nichols (Michigan), her grandchildren TaLona McDavis, Semaj Moore-Lacy and Jasem Moore-Lacy, and her great-grandchildren Carter Dugas and Carson Dugas. Deborah also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.

She will forever live in all of our hearts.

A Memorial Service will be held at Green Acres Memorial Park Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington, CA 92316, US, on April 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington, CA 92316, US, on April 24, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
