Wow, I just learned of Mr Burnich’s passing.  My sincere condolences to the Burnich family. Best memory is from my elementary years at West Randall when he was my principal. He would always  ask how I was doing in Croatian and I answered in Croatian. All the other kids would wonder what we just said. Forever I will remember his smile and gentle demeanor, stern when needed. May you all continue to be comforted with wonderful memories ❤️

My Dad, Tom Hogan, as well as myself both worked with Don at FUSD for many years.  Whenever we saw Don, he was always smiling and such a likeable man! He was so well-respected in the District by many people. My thoughts and prayers are with Donna and his family during this difficult time. The memories of Don will last you a lifetime!

Don was a warm and natural kind of guy.   He related to people very well.  We would often talk about his Croatian heritage.  May he rest in peace.

Simply one of the best.  Rest In Peace Don.  We send our prayers out to Donna and the rest of the family.
