Donnie Couts would meet a stranger and become a friend. Don’s infectious laugh and sense of humor drew people to him very shortly. Once you met him you would not forget him. Although he was very ill these last months and undergoing dialysis 3 to 4 times a week, he never let other people know his pain and discomfort from all his medical treatments. He loved people, family gatherings, grandchildren and his two Sons, Shane and Ronnie, daughter, Danielle and her husband Saul, his Mom and her husband, Tony, Brother Tom and daughter-in-law Dorrine, animals and good food. Maybe not in that order, but people knew it and they can put a spin on it as they personally know it. He worked in the oil industry where he met many wonderful people. He was lucky enough to find a truly second Mom, Miss Eva, and her husband Jerry along with their Son, Rob, who became as they say, Brothers from another Mother. Donnie saw the good in everyone. In order for him to live independently he had a caregiver, Antonio, who was loved by all Don’s family and will always have a place in our family. He will be missed, but with his deep faith in GOD we know where he is alongside his beloved Brother, Ronnie, his Father, Tom, his grandmothers, and many aunts, and uncles. They get to hear his laughter again.
