Rev. Earnest Brown Sr. born April 12, 1937 the second son of Daniel Webster Brown Jr. and Pauletta Bankston in Pastoria, Arkansas. Earnest is the second oldest of thirteen children. Earnest attended Pastoria Elementary, Sherrill Middle School, and Vastar High School. He was baptized at an early age and attended Watkins Chapel Baptist Church in Pastoria, Arkansas. Earnest said when he was growing up he was not into the church; he even ran from God’s calling as long as he could. However, God changed that thinking, and he finally gave into God's calling. At the age of 44 years, Earnest took the mantel and ran the race for God, and was still running during his battles with Dementia. Earnest’s employment history…you name it he did it, Tree trimmer, American Can Company, Railroad, Target Stores. A member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Riverside, until he founded the Peoples Missionary Baptist Church, which started from his home in 2001. The church later moved to the Johnson Center in Rialto, Ca. 2012 Earnest became a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Moreno Valley, Ca Earnest loved to sing and became a member of the Inland Empire Men of Praise, which consists of men from different Churches. Earnest leaves to mourn his homegoing, his spouse Thomasena Townsend-Brown, two sons: Earnest Brown Jr, (Theresa) North Carolina, Edward Brown New York, ; two daughters: Brenda Faye Graham(Ronald) New York, Cynthia Morant, Texas. Two Step sons: DeAndre Furlough, Moreno Valley, Ca, Michael G. Smith, Texas, Siblings: Sisters, Freddie, Arkansas; Irma (Willie) Illinois; Emma, Texas; Carolyn, Texas; Vera (Howard) Texas; Pam (Don) Texas; Joandres (Dennis)Texas. Brothers: Larry (Patricia), Alabama; Dexter, Texas. He is preceded in death by: Father Daniel Webster Brown Jr.; Mother Pauletta Bankston; and brothers Daniel Brown III, Charles Givens, and Cleodis Chyphes, son James Brown. Earnest leaves 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Rev. Earnest Brown Sr., age 82, of Moreno Valley, California went peacefully on Friday August 30, 2019. Earnest was born April 12, 1937 in Pastoria, Arkansas.

A burial for Earnest will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 at 12:00 AM at Green Acres Memorial Park, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington, California 92316. A visitation will occur Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Acres Memorial Park & Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington, CA 92316. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 2917 5 Ironwood Avenue, Moreno Valley, CA 92555. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Green Acres Memorial Park & Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington, CA 92316.
