

Fernanda Cachua Guzman was born May 30, 1929 in Fontana, Ca. She was preceded by her Husband Daniel Guzman and Son Francisco “Pancho” Guzman. Fernanda had 11 children: Francisco, Daniel, Teresa, Guadalupe, David, Virginia, Rafael, Sal, Jesus, Alicia, and Ramiro Guzman. She had 29 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Fernanda and her children worked as fruit harvesters all over California, traveling from season to season as the agricultural seasons changed. She dedicated her life to her family, helping others, her devotion to God, and her faithful belief in the Catholic Church.
Fernanda was a dedicated grandmother who raised 4 grandchildren as her own. She believed in the power and necessity of education and helped her grandchildren go to college. Her grandchildren inherited her love for music and sports among other talents and she encouraged them as their #1 fan. Fernanda did not like to be called grama; instead, she was called Mama Nanda.
On Thursday, January 9, 2014 Fernanda physically left this world at the age of 84. Fernanda will be remembered as the fun, loving, caring person that she was. Her laughter and smile will be carried in the hearts of her family. Her teachings will be practiced and passed on. Her love will continue to grow as the family expands and her memory never forgotten.
The services for Fernanda will be as follows:
Viewing at Green Acres Cemetery in Bloomington, Ca on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 5pm-9pm.
Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fontana, Ca on Thursday, January 16, 2014 10am.
Burial at Green Acres Cemetery in Bloomington, Ca immediately following the mass.
