

The beautiful soul of Flora Linda Baca Zimmermann, 62, of Riverside is now reunited with her sister, Mary Lou Ramirez; and her father and mother, Henry and Victoria Baca. Flora passed away on Saturday, June 23rd in Corona as a result of complications from diabetes. Flora was born on May 24, 1956 in San Bernardino, CA. She had many jobs, but her favorite was as a mother, wife and homemaker. Flora’s laugh was contagious, penetrating the gloomiest heart and brightening their day. Her cooking was legendary. Her talent for singing and performing was captivating, following in the footsteps of her big sister, Mary Lou. And the love she held for her children and grandchildren was joyful, affectionate, generous, understanding, and unconditional. They could do no wrong in her eyes and she relished every moment with her grandbabies. She will be immeasurably missed. She is survived by her husband, Andreas Zimmermann; two children, Henry Cockrum and Renee Wills; three grandchildren, James and Wendy Wills, and Maxwell Cockrum; one sister, Emily Poppett; four brothers, Mike Baca, Leo Baca, Steve Baca, and Peter Baca; along with eight nieces, six nephews, and five godchildren. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 6th at St. George Catholic Church, 17895 San Bernardino Ave, Fontana. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington.
