Oh my Dearest sweetest/ beautiful cousin - this is us growing up together spending every weekend playing outside sharing memories.  You are now  an Angel in the sky with beautiful  pink wings no more pain no more suffering although we are going to miss you dearly we know we will meet again soon. We met in HS, I don't even remember how but it was awesome and we clicked. We laughed together (a whole lot- Rene would call us cackling hens), danced together and we cried together- we were amazing friends. You and your family welcomed me into your home. Although we hadn't spoken in years I thought of you often. Now, I miss you more than ever. Until we meet- laugh and dance again Freddie! 

Where do I begin.... Once I picked up you from vegas to come move back home in 2014, it was me and you hanging out everyday! From parties in the desert, cooking food our parents wouldn't touch, watching bootleg movies and our favorite pass time GAMING! It was like we were so in tune with each other that it was like being kids again. You taught me how to be expressive and how not to take any noise from anyone. A tough cookie with a gentle soul! Words cannot describe how much Im going to miss our wacky nonsense conversations, goofy habits and pretty much... your presence. I'll talk to you in my heart everyday until we can speak to each other again and be united forever. I love you so much my brother!

Dear Freddie,

The last 24 hours have gutted me as the reality keeps sinking in - and we haven't seen or spoken to each other in over twenty years, yet my heart, head and body hurt.  Daft Punk's "Around the World" on repeat because that beat encapsulates an image I carry of  you in my head dancing and laughing. Thank you for seeing me so clearly during a time I couldn't see myself. Thank you for the countless talks and memories that you have now taken with you. I will hold these precious moments in my head and heart till the day I can see you again and maybe throw my arms around you again.   You are light. You are love my friend. You made a difference in my life and shifted the trajectory of it. I think we all did that for each other in some way. 

I don't have a picture of us to share. So instead I'll share the first film me you and Art saw together after taking the bus from Fontana to Rancho to witness if Tom Cruise could fulfill the promise of performance in Interview with the Vampire.  I don't remember if we liked it or not. But I remember sitting at the..that cafe that I can't remember the name of. Smoking and talking and laughing.  I will miss you. Thank you

To the Minuto family. I am so sorry,  Mi deseo es que Dios los mantenga en su gracia durante este dificil tiempo.  mi más sentido pésame.

Freddie was my Best Friend for many years in High School, and almost all my memories of the good old days Freddie was a key star.  He was my Prom date, my dance partner, and we experienced so many things together back then.  We almost drowned together during our Spring Break! We were both being swallowed up by the ocean and I remember him grabbing me and trying to push me closer to shore. But the ocean was winning, and we were torn apart. Eventually our friend David ran in and saved us both. We sat on shore crying together, and once we got the fear out starting laughing together. We would drive to desert parties and sneak in. So much Fun! It’s crazy because about two weeks ago I noticed my Mom was friends with Freddie on Facebook. We haven’t spoken in over 10 years so I’ve always been alittle broken hearted that it came to that. He will always have a piece of my heart. I have a million pictures of Freddie, so it was hard to pic only  one.

I remember being in jr high and going to Freddies house after school to hang out with Freddie my Brother Ronnie.Freddies brothers Rene,Angel,and Mario.We would hang out until my mom would pick us up.I can remember My brother and Freddie out in the back yard trying  to create there own carnival rides.And of course me and Mario were the test dummies.These were some of my best memories growing up.Freddie was so kind and sweet.Our family new him and his brothers for years even when we were out of school.all the way into our adult years.He will truly be missed.

One summer, Freddie invited me camping with his family up to Ridgecrest (maybe in 2000). We went to the lake and someone had a huge raft where multiple people could float. So Freddie and I floated and talked for hours but we didn’t wear sunscreen…so my left half got tanned and his right half burned. On the ride home, we tried to coordinate who sat on which side of the car so we could try to balance ourselves out. 

Thank you all for your lovely messages of my beautiful brother Freddie. His service will be Sunday August 14 from 12pm to 4pm.

Getting into a party chat or a video call with Freddy and he and I talk about my upcoming wedding. Freddy was amazing at makeup and fashion and just always making people feel comfortable and freely be them selves. I am gonna miss you my friend!
