Gertrude Mary Land, 98 passed away April 1, 2013 in Redding, California. Though she was born in Burwell, Garfield County, Nebraska, she lived in Bloomington for forty years prior to moving to Redding. She attended the Bloomington Church of the Nazarene which is now called The Bridge Church of the Nazarene. Gretrude is proceeded in death by her husband of 42 years, Paul Bell Land, and her daughter Dixie Smith and son Jerry Land.
She is survived by her two sons Don Land and Walter Craig Taggart and her sister Katheryn Anderson. She will be missed by her twenty three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday April 6, 2013, 1:00PM at Green Acres Memorial Park, Bloomington, California.
