

Harold Lynn McClellan, 70 years of age, a fifty three year residenct of the Inland Empire, passed away on April 15, 2011, after a lenghty illness. He was born September 13, 1940 in Dekalb, Texas to the late Sebastian and Evia McClellan. Eight siblings preceded him in death.
Harold grew up in Texas and was baptized in 1945 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Terrell Texas by Rev. Dickey. He gradauated from Burnett High School in Terrell Texas. Soon, thereafter he enlisted in the Air Force. He worked in the medical services and later stationed at the USAF Hospital in Chateauroux, France. When his service experience was over, he relocated to Fontana with his family and enrolled in Chaffey Junior College. Later in life he would return to Chaffey College as an Assistant Football Coach. He met and married in 1966, Wilma Brocks, who was then a teacher in Fontana. They were blessed with two children, H, Lynn McClellan, Jr. and Michelene McClellan. Retired from Yellow Freight Co. and having worked many years at kaiser Steel, Harold made life long friendships. He was a fun loving person who took the importance of education, family ties and his faith very seriously.
Harold leaves to mourn his devoted wife, Wilma; two children, H. Lynn (Regina) McClellan and Michelene (Moises) Merlos; four siblings, Ocleta Keel, Robert (Belvin) McClellan, Darnell (Leatrice) McClellan , and Versell (Morris) Washington. He also leaves six grandchildren Malcolm, Maya, and Morgan McClellan and Santiago, Dannika, and Abrielle Merlos. A host of nieces , nephews, cousins and friends will deeply miss him.
