Ms.Helen was a warm, compassionate and loving wife and mother. The biggest love of her life was her family. She loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids, and she always went out of her way to help others no matter what. If anyone needed a babysitter she was always there to help. Ms. Helen married the love of her life Frank Baker in 1952 and he adored and loved her dearly. Every summer he would take her camping to walker river river for 6 weeks. They would make one trip into town daily and she would always call her kids. Helen was an amazing mother from the day her kids were born to the day she passed. She would do everything for them and make sure they were all taken care of and make sure they had everything they needed, she would make sure that we would never go without. She worked hard to make sure they always had the best vacations. Helen loved to bowl, her and Frank would spend many days enjoying their passion for bowling, they were even on a bowling team. Helen taught her kids many things when they were young that hold them in good stead today, good manners, respect and sound moral values. These values have made them who they are today and they thank her very much. As her kids got older Helen worked as a lunch lady in the main kitchen cooking and preparing food for the kids and she loved it.
Helens kids will always remember their holidays together; Christmas was always a big thing for Helen, she always made sure that Santa was good to her kids and that everyone had all the gifts they wanted. Easter, she always made sure everyone was all dressed up and she always made sure that we had exceptional dinners.
The lasting memories of Helen are simple: A hard working, passionate figure of strength who’s love for her family never diminished, and who are stayed strong, even when times were tough. It is a great privilege to write this eulogy to express the sadness that all of her kids share over their loss.
