Irene Flores

Irene Flores, 82, passed into eternal salvation on Monday October 29, 2012 at home. Irene was born on April 5, 1930 in Fontana; CA. Irene is survived by her husband of 64 years Enrique Flores, her 7 children Joe, Henry, Rosie, Ray, Danny, Jaime, Ray, and Lillian, along with her 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Irene was a member of St. Mary's church in Fontana, CA for many years. Irene lived for her family, she raised not only her own children but numerous of her grandchildren. She was a strong woman with a heart of gold, who would do anything for her family. Irene celebrated life after becoming a colon cancer survivor. When visiting her at home you could find her on her favorite spot working on a word search puzzle. She enjoyed going to church on Thursdays and eating breakfast at her favorite restaurant, Casa Jimenez. She also loved going to the casino and playing penny machines with her sister Margie Uriquez. Irene will be missed by all in the physical world, but will remain in our hearts forever. Services will be held on Thursday November 8, 2012. Viewing at Green Acres Mortuary in Bloomington from 8 to 10a.m., Mass will be held at 11a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Fontana, followed by the burial at Green Acres Cemetery in Bloomington.
