Jim was a good friend to me for the past 25 years, so it is with deep sadness that I learn of his passing. I offer my condolences to all of you who loved him, especially to you, Sarah, Joyce, and Pete. I 'm very sorry for your loss.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim.  I met Jim in the late 80s when I had partnered with the owner of the company Jim worked for.  Jim was a great guy.  Years after I had sold out to my partner, 1994, I ran a cross Jim again when i saw him at a performance at the Riverside Plaza where my band was performing in 2006 or 2007.  From that time on we stayed pretty much in contact via e-mail sending jokes and sharing our opinions of world events.  I would keep Jim informed of my band's performance schedule and he would show up now and then to see us perform.  I will greatly miss seeing him at future performances.
