Jess was a truck driver for his entire career, traveling all over the US. Early in his career he owned his own business with at least one employee driving one of his trucks. At one time he worked for Sunkist hauling all sorts of fresh fruits & vegetables. He has told us many stories of different areas even in Fontana and Cucamonga that were 'nothing but orange groves' and how he enjoyed the various fruits and vegetables he received from the fields when he was there to pickup loads. He was a member of the Teamsters and during the span of his career he earned many rewards wit them for Excellence in Safety practices and perfect driving records without any collisions or incidents. He was awarded the 2 Million Mile Safety record. Jess is survived by his wife Mary Lou Delgado, 1 son Jess Joseph Delgado (Karen) and 1 daughter Christine Elizabeth Russell (Adam) 2 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
