

Kenneth Roy White was born in Lawrence, Kansas on May 2, 1949, to Curtis and Gwendolyn White. He passed peacefully at his home on March 26, 2026. He grew up in Lawrence, Kansas where he attended elementary and high school, he excelled at football and was name All American in 1966.
He met his wife. Burrietta Jackson, in Lawrence white, attended the University of Kansas. Upon Burrietta's graduation from the University of Kansas, they went to Tanzania to teach. They remained in East Africa for about four years. While there, Ken did outstanding work at Ifunda Technical Trade School even building a windmill for a local village, and Burrietta taught English. Upon returning to the United States, they relocated to Rialto, California where his in-laws welcome them to their home. Kenneth initially worked at Kaiser Steel as a millwright while completing his degree in elementary education at Cal State San Bernardino. Seeking to use his degree, he briefly taught elementary school but later chose to work in campus security for Moreno Valley School district.
Kenneth accepted Christ and often attended Sunrise Church in Rialto. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing tennis, reading historical fiction and nonfiction, and traveling as well as spending time with family and friends. As a couple of over 40+ years Kenneth and Burrietta traveled extensively. Their travels included Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Mexico, St. Thomas, Jamaica, Hawaii, Paris, France, Johannesburg, and many other places.
Kenneth was proceeded in death by his parents, older brother, Donald (Judy), brother in-law, Hugh Jackson Jr., and his in-laws, Hugh and Emma Jackson.
Left with many memories are his loving and devoted wife, Burrietta, his brother Delmar White (Carmen), many nephews, nieces, and cousins, his sisters in-law, Huberta Jackson-Lowman and Darletta Jackson, and brother in-law Torrance Jackson, and many, many dear friends. He will indeed be missed.
