Lisa Simone Sanders, also known as “Ms. Foxy Lady," was born on February 1, 1962 to Billy L. Sanders and Sharon Elizabeth Sanders in Toledo, Ohio. Our mother Sharon Sanders moved to California where she met and married Donald Lewis Sr. he raised Lisa as his own child.
Lisa graduated in 1980 from Harriet Tubman High School in Compton, CA. Lisa had a long career in the rental car business, being the hard worker that she was; she was eventually promoted to manager. She worked for Budget Rental Car until she was injured; Lisa became disabled and suffered for many years to come.
Lisa was baptized and throughout her life, she never gave up her faith in Jehovah and Jesus Christ. She was zealous in the field ministry with her young sons. She enjoyed sewing for herself and her sons, cleaning was a hobby, and gardening is where she found peace with Jehovah's creation. She was a very industrious woman, one to be admired. Lisa had a good heart, always welcoming all to her home, especially her family. Lisa was admired for her strength; even though she was small, she was such a strong lady. She had a wealth of knowledge, and loved to share all she knew with others, even if you asked or not...she would talk your ears off. Be ready to spend at least an hour or more hearing her talk...lol. Everyone knew Lisa loved her diamonds, and she didn’t need a reason to wear them. Lisa had such a giving spirit. She would always shower her family and friends with gifts for no reason, just because she loved her family dearly. She made so many sacrifices for her sons, and they appreciated everything she did for them. They will cherish her for the rest of their lives.
Lisa would never give up. She was a go-getter. She didn’t let anything stop her from reaching her goals.
Lisa is preceded in death by her father Billy L. Sanders.
Lisa leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her parents; Donald and Sharon Lewis, three beautiful son’s Brenden Rene Sanders, Justin Baron Sanders, and Anthony Albert Moreno, four beautiful grandchildren Brenden Sanders, Jada Sanders, Nyla Sanders, and Justin Baron Sanders II. Five brother’s: Robert (Cornelia), Derrick, Theron (Terry) Michael (Laura), David (Blanca), and two sisters Tammy and Ganise (Billy), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
