Luis Deloera Jr.

On Thursday November 13, 2025, Luis De Loera Jr. passed away in Colton, California. He was surrounded by family and friends during the last days of his life. Luis was preceded in death by his grandparents Frances Palomino and Felix De Loera; and his sister Josefine De Loera. Luis is survived by his parents, Margaret De Loera and Luis De Loera Sr.; his sister, Joceline De Loera; his nephew, Cole De Loera; his grandparents Juan Palomino and Josefina De Lara; and his godmother, aunts, cousins, and a host of close friends.

Luis will be remembered for his unconditional and unending love for his friends and family, his witty humor, and his healing energy. He left an everlasting impact on everyone lucky enough to meet him. He loved to travel, paint, sing, dance, cook, and garden. He grew up in California and lived in New York from the ages of 18-25, which allowed him to indulge deeper in his passions for food, culture, and fashion. He made lifelong friendships everywhere he went and was the glue that brought everyone together. He was a loyal and protective son, brother, uncle, and friend. His memory will live on through his family and friends that he loved very much.

A viewing will be held at Green Acres Mortuary 11715 Cedar Ave Bloomington, CA 92316 on December 11th from 10-12, service from 12-1:30, and interment to follow.
