It is so wonderful to see all the pictures and know how loved and cherished Luis was to his family.  His work family loved him too.  It was always a highlight of my day when I got to talk with Luis and check in on how he was doing.  He and I would always buy quesadilla's together in the cafeteria,  I would always get cheese and he would order quesadillas with TUNA.  I would tease him and not let the spatula touch his "stinky" quesadilla.  He always told me he was going to get me to try one.  He was so kind and thoughtful with everyone he met and made you feel that you were special.  I really miss him and he holds a special place in my heart. 

Thank you to the Ibarra family for raising such a kind and giving man,  He was very cared for at BSC and was a friend to so many,

I’ve tried many ways for you to hear me say the things I never had the chance to say but still to this day it’s hard to believe this is real. Nothing in this life could have prepared me for this. I know you're in a better place big brother and maybe I’m just really selfish to say I still needed you. I’ll never forget our conversations every weekend watching movies,working on your cars, or even just hearing about your day when you would get home from work and I was at your house. I have so many memories to hold on to I just hate that it was cut so short. I love you so much and I can’t imagine not having you in my life anymore it’s been hard. I just pray that you’ll be the first face I see when it’s my time. I hope you can forgive me for not trying I should have fought harder for you. You deserved better than anything this world could have offered. You were always the better half of us. You will always have a part of me with you.

How's it!?

I've been sad, I've even cried a few times... I'm teary eyed writing this to you.
I don't know why I'm so outwardly emotional, I'm not a crier.  You probably didn't know that about me, but it's true.

The only explanation that makes any sense is simply you touched my heart in a way I didn't necessarily know at the time... or in a way I didn't expect.  
Our interactions were brief but it appears even our everyday chatter was powerful & meaningful.  I didn't tell you because it didn't seem relevant at the time, I am so grateful & appreciate our very basic conversations.  And I will miss them.  If I know you at all, your smiling... not at all upset or bothered about what's happened and even have new goals for your future in heaven.  

I will think of you anytime I pass that mall in LA... you know the one off the freeway, with huge gold (are they gold?) statues.
Yea that one... it's an outlet right?

Luis - you will always me in my heart. You were an amazing employee and a true friend. Your work team is so very devastated and we are working on ways to remember and honor your beautiful life. Keep on "Livin the Life" in heaven, my friend.
