OBITUARY

Marcia Charlene Skinner

May 14, 1941October 6, 2019

Marcia Charlene Skinner was born May 14, 1941 in the frosty snowy place of St. Paul, Minnesota.

"Marcie" grew up as the youngest child of her family and enjoyed playing sports on the playground. She liked playing football and other outdoor activities as well.

As "Marcie" grew into her adolescent years she learned how to play the piano and it was one of her most enjoyable thing to do. She also had a Lovely voice when she sang that was so Beautiful and Touching. In her High School years and later she was a lifetime member of one of the young Women's Social Clubs which gave events from time to time. Marcie was also a member of Saint Peter Claver Church in St. Paul.

As we all know, "Marcie" came to California where she met her husband Frederick Skinner and they married on October 31st. As it was a big change for "Marcie", coming from the cold of Minnesota to the Sunshine of California she adjusted well and had her children who brought much joy to her life. She so much enjoyed the days at the Softball field or Basketball court with her Girls or the Football field with her boys. She Loved It All.

Marcie retired from Cal Poly Pomona after many years as an Educational Opportunity Office Administrator.

Many of Marcies other loves were Crocheting blankets or items for her grandchildren, NFL football, her time at the Casino...and her never-ending love for her man "Kenny G".

She Loved and enjoyed her time with family, Particularly her time with the Grand and GreatGrand children which were her "Thriving force".

"Marcie" will be truly missed by all of those that "Loved" and "Cherished" her and the many ways she touched their lives.

MOM...may you Rest In Peace and May GOD Rest Your Soul.

Love, Your Family.."We will Love You Forever"

Amen
