Grandma I thank you for what you have done for us. You opened your home to our family. Everyday you would wake me up for school , you did things you didn’t have to do. You’ve been through a lot but you were strong. You were very funny , I remember it was a windy day and you told me “ hold on to grandpa before you fly away “. Grandma you are very gorgeous and you will always be. I love you so much and I thank you for taking care and loving me. It hurts me and everyone to let you go but your not in pain anymore and that is what matters.

I have so many memories with my mother, to many that this could take years to write. One that I remember, is a time when she was already dependent on all of us. I would bathe her and as I was drying her hair, the towel covered her face, so when I moved the towel I exposed her forehead and I gave her a great big kiss then I said I love you! She was so happy, the happiest I’ve seen her since she became dependent. Another memory that comes to mind is one night Robert, my mom and I decided to play chutes and ladder “the classic version”. Robert and I completely forgot how to play the game but my mom played it with such confidence, that she won about eight of the ten games we played. Well turns out she was making her own rules that made it easy for her to win. We laughed about it, we didn’t care as long as she was happy.
Mom you will be deeply missed, until we meet again, one sweet day.
Para mi papá, mi mamá siempre me dijo que cuidara a tu papá, sé paciente con él, papá, me aseguraré de hacer lo que ella dijo. Sé que este será un largo camino, pero lo superaremos juntos de la mano. To all my big sissy’s let’s make moms dream come true and become so united love each other the way mom loved us with all of our flaws.Mami to hear you say one more time with a big smile every time I walked in the room MI BEBÈ I’d do anything, please visit me in my dreams, Yo te extrañare!

I have too many memories to choose from but here’s one. Once, I remembered she asked me if I wanted her to adopt me. I didn’t really understood the word she used for adopt, but I said no. So she got offended. Lala repeated to me so I could understand, and with a warm heart...I said yes. God put you in my life so I don’t forget what love is. There were times throughout life when I needed a mother’s love, and since my mother passed I was missing that, until I met you. I hoped that I was the son that you never had and that I made you proud. “Pretty Lady”, I Love you lots and with all my heat that only a son could .
-Your son Robert
