Born November 4th, 1955, in Blytheville Arkansas. She grew up in Los Angeles, California and is where she met Alonso Cosio the love of her life, her “Sweetheart”. Since 1972 and over 50 years in love they shared a beautiful life together and had four children, Steven, Diane, Alonso Jr, and Christopher.
Our Mom was one of a kind, genuine, honest, loving, and playful. One of the things she enjoyed most was listening to music and dancing. She would always spend time reminiscing and telling us stories about the best of times. Our Mom had 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, she lived for her kids and loved her grandchildren more than anything. Family was very important to her, and she always reminded us to stay together no matter what.
Our Mom fought a disease called Scleroderma for 20 years. This disease took every ounce of her until her last day, but her heart would not have shown it. She was always calm and would never let people know how much pain she truly felt. Our Mom passed away on September 2nd, 2023, due to a disease that was unrelenting. Regena Rose has moved on to the next life quietly in her sleep. She is resting in peace now and is with God her Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, and Family in Paradise.
