Ronald Dale Davies

Ronald Dale Davies was born on November 19, 1933, the son of William & Lola Davies in Akeley, Minnesota. Ronald moved to Stephenson, Michigan, in 1945, where he attended Stephenson High School (Class of 1953).

Ronald served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1956. He completed basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He was stationed in Texarkana, Texas and in New Mexico at Fort Kobbe. He would go on to receive an Honorable Discharge.

Ronald worked in Chicago, Illinois, for about two years in a spring factory. He also worked at Fontana Christian School as a bus driver and custodian, then worked at the Sun Newspaper in circulation and production, and finally worked at Fedco Department Store.

Ronald married Patricia Pitts on August 26, 1966, and would stay happily married for 29 years with her until her eventual passing on December 15, 1995.

He has been in California from 1959 to 2023.

He was a member of Rialto Community Baptist Church in Rialto, California.

Ronald is survived by: his sister, Shirley Gidlof of Neenah, Wisconsin; his brother, Billy M. Davies of Menominee, Michigan; his nephews, Mark Gidlof of Neenah, Wisconsin, William J. Davies of Vacaville, California; his niece, Lisa Bauer of Marinette, Wisconsin; and his cousin, Jan Williams of Fontana, California.

Graveside Services:

Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518

Hours are: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Mon thru Sun.
