Salvador “Sal” Ortiz Jr., beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 26, 2026. Born on September 4, 2007, in Loma Linda, California, Sal brought light, strength, and loyalty into the lives of everyone who knew him.
Known to all as “Sal,” he was the youngest in his family, yet somehow stood taller than everyone, not just in presence but in the way he carried himself. He was dependable beyond his years, a quality that reflected the strength and values of his parents. Loyal, hardworking, and strong, Sal was someone people could always count on.
Sal had a deep love for baseball and looked up to heroes like Spiderman, embodying that same sense of courage and heart in his everyday life. He enjoyed spending his time playing video games, and anyone who knew him knew his go-to favorites included Dr Pepper and Takis. These simple joys were part of what made him so easy to love and be around.
Sal will always be remembered in the way he loved his family, in the loyalty he showed his friends, and in the strength he carried every day. He will be missed more than words can ever fully express, and he will forever hold a place in our hearts.
