Henrietta married Ewin Melvin Jeffries on November 30, 1952 in Quartzsite, Arizona.
Henrietta is preceded in death by her husband, Ewin Melvin Jeffries, her parents, and her sisters Mary Ellen Farrar and Betty Brown, and a host of extended family.
Henrietta was a homemaker. She took care of her kids and grandkids whenever she was needed. She loved to have the holidays at her house. A place we could all get together and she could enjoy our company. When all her kids and grandkids grew up she loved to go camping and fishing. She could fish all summer if she didn’t have anything else to do. When she wasn’t camping and fishing, she loved to crochet. She would make blankets for the babies and tablecloths for those getting married.
Growing up she was always there to help us and take care of us when needed. She always made sure that we used our manners and would always say, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” Henrietta was loved by many, and will be missed by all of us.
Henrietta is survived by her brother George Richard Dewey, daughters: Cindy (Steve) Madonna and Bambi Hall. (Mike). Her sons: Richard (Kenda) Jeffries, Donald (Ginger) Jeffries, Dwayne (Leann) Jeffries and David Jeffries. Her grandchildren: Pauline Price, Tina Norrup, April Madonna Fierro, Cynthia Collins, Kevin Hall, Autum Hogan, Jennifer Jensen, Richie Jeffries, Philip Jeffries, Tara Carter, Jamie Jeffries, Ashley Jeffries, Robert Jeffries, Brady Jeffries and Cheyanne Davis. 27 great-grandkids and 5 great-great-grandkids.
