Shawn your sweet smile and spirit we will never forget, I remember having classes with you and when you entered the room the place became lit. Although it's been years since I've seen your face, you were always a gentleman who walked in love and grace. Although, the news of your passing came as a surprise, I choose to remember that spark in your eyes.I realize life hands us our share of hard times and trials, ups and downs, tears and smiles. Now that you're gone I want you to know that Christa, your children, and family, and friends are all saddened you had to go. If it's any solace to those who may be reading this, Understand Shawn is now in heavenly bliss. No more pain, no more fear, the only ones that have to deal with those emotions are the ones remaining here. It is my prayer that God will heal every heart that's torn and that family is supported as they begin to mourn. There are no mistakes in the universe, not one at all, In life everyone will one day have to answer that final call. So, until we each see our day, let's love, forgive, and for each other continue to pray.

In my mind's eye you are just out mowing the yard or coaching at the field or in the very next room and I will always feel you in my heart, in my soul, in all ways big and small.  You gave me a comfort in life that I hope you have found while you wait for me. So sorry for your loss Christa and family. I remember being over at your house all the times Shawn would come rolling up on his bike, tapping at the door wanting Christa to come out and visit. I am happy to know I was a witness to the budding romance they shared back in 8th grade and loved that it grew to so much more. RIP Shawn and may you always be guardian angel  to Christa, Matthew and Marissa and the rest of the family.
