I remember going to our Masters Reunions "Masters Classics" and  seeing him play against my dad and having a wonderful time I'll miss my Uncle Tom

Tom Masters was my father along with my sisters Linda, Loretta and my brother Bobby. He was so many things to so many people, but as much as he had to share of himself with the rest of the world, he had all the more with his wife and kids. He was an amazing father who raised his children with love and fun and music. He and mom taught us kids how to harmonize, he was so proud of his little troupe of entertainers! Mom and Dad sounded like Roy Roger and Dale Evans in their beautiful duets.
 He was "Micky Mouser" who with an old coffee can of odds and ends could repair a television or a toaster. He was so creative! We lived next to a hardware store but dad would rather dig through cans and boxes for an hour than go buy something he could make himself.
 He had the lightning wit of a top comedian. He rarely greeted a stranger without making them laugh. He never tried to attract attention to himself, he made other people feel good about themselves. People wanted to be near dad because it felt so good. But no doubt Dad greatly enjoyed his own gift for humor. I think a lot of the funny things dad said were just as much a surprise to him as those he said it to and when Dad cracked up we all laughed like crazy!  
 He was a competitor! He won bowling and golf tournaments, he water skied like a champ. He was a very good coach. Today when I watch a pro ball game I look for the fundamentals that dad taught us Little Leaguers and Girl Softballers. He was a sports fan and it was great to grow up with dad and the Lakers and  Angels and Stock Cars!
 Dad was always faithful to his beloved wife, our mother Ruth. A mean gesture or word was never seen or heard at our house. There could be no greater example of two people in love than my Mom and Dad. 
 As Dad wore weak from the ravages of Alzheimer's Mom never left his side. Certain that he would be there for her in exactly the same way, she refused to put Dad in a care home. Dad died at home peacefully in his sleep at 92 years old.
 There was never a single day in his life that he wasn't loved. Not a minute of those days that he didn't share his love back!
                I am eternally grateful that Tom Masters is my Father
