William A. Roecker

William Allen Roecker, of Rialto, CA. died Wednesday, February 8th at Vista Cove Care Center in Rialto after a long fight with congestive heart failure. Born in Elgin, North Dakota, June 7th, 1930 to Flora Belle and George Roecker, Bill graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1948 and San Bernardino Valley College in 1951 with an AA degree and a Certificate of Diesel Electric Technology. Bill worked for Kaiser Steel Corporation from 1951 to 1983 and for California Steel Corporation from 1984 to 1992 as an electrical/mechanical maintenance foreman. He was a member of the Rialto United Methodist Church since 1965.

Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce of Rialto, his sister LaFern of Bowman, North Dakota; his sister Lois of Camarillo; his sister AnnaBelle of Rialto; nephews Jim, Al and Gary; his son David and his wife Cynthia of Rim Forest and their son Jacob and daughter Rebecca; his daughter Karen and her husband Jan of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and their sons Alex and Lucas; his daughter Barbara and her husband Gregg of Sparks, Nevada and their daughters Kendra and Renee.

The funeral service will be held at the Rialto United Methodist Church, 1230 N. Lilac Ave. Rialto, CA 92376 on Sat., February 18th with a viewing at 9:00a.m., service at 10:00a.m. and interment at Montecito Memorial Park: 3520 E. Washington St. Colton, CA.
