

Zerline Robinson, aged eighty-eight, of San Bernardino, California, was born in Houston, Texas, and passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.
Early Life and Career
Born on July 12, 1937, Zerline was the beloved daughter of Gene Jackson and Ella (Baines) Jackson. She dedicated her professional life to serving others as a Psychiatric Technician at Lanterman Development Hospital, where she worked diligently for 24 years before retiring. Zerline was recognized for her compassion and dedication in her service to both clients and colleagues.
Faith and Community
A woman of unwavering faith, Zerline was an active and cherished member of Greater Faith Grace Bible Church in Rialto. Known affectionately as “Mama Zerline,” she was known for her warmth, wisdom, and generous hospitality, touching countless lives within her church and community.
Family and Legacy
Zerline’s enduring legacy lives on through the generations she lovingly nurtured. She is survived by her eight children, who carry forward her faith and values. Her family also includes twenty-four grandchildren, each one a testament to the love and guidance she provided over the years. In addition, Zerline’s influence extends to twenty-three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The strength of her family stands as Zerline’s greatest testament. Through her descendants, Zerline’s legacy of kindness, faith in God, and love continues to flourish, reflecting the profound impact she had on all those blessed to be part of her life.

Zerline is survived by her eight children: Lester Jackson, Sr. (Annette), Gayle Knight (Jerry), Eileen Alsina, Pamela Carter (Victor), Lisa Phillips (Harold), Kathleen Wade (Kelvin), Shenitha Fallon, and LaRhonda Robinson (Brian).
Her grandchildren are Lester Jackson, Jr., Leslie Byrd (Joel), Marquis Knight, Darian Knight (Angela), Cashawna Knight, Shanta Harleston (Ron), Jazmine Williams (Omar), Verlin Alsina, Jr. (Christy), Jahari Alsina, Jordyn Alsina, Jessica Hay, Ttaliah Carter, Kaylah Carter, Victor Carter II
(Angel), Nicole Cech (Andrew), Jamielah Jones, Wesley Wade (Breyale), Cherish Heard (Adrian), Taylor Fallon, Michael Fallon II, Justin Fallon, Destiny Robinson, Anthony Thomas, Morgan Gray, and Ryan Thomas.
Zerline’s great-grandchildren include Joel Byrd Jr., Jaxson Byrd, London Byrd, DeAndrea Johnson (Don), Daylen Gadsden, Marquise Beasley, Asia Knight, Kenya Knight, Bailey Knight, Brooklynn Harleston, Sanai Williams, Mykael Williams, Mikyh Alsina, Aaliyah Alsina, Isaiah Alsina, Verlin Alsina III, Jared Hay Jr., Ryan Roche Jr., Zerlyne Carter, Madison Blount, Julian Wade, Harlem Heard, and Elijah Washington.
Her great-great-grandchildren are Raiden Gadsden, Rain Gadsden, and Kynslei Johnson.
Zerline is also survived by three siblings: her sister Gene Wiley (Linton) and two older brothers, Walter Jackson and Lester Jackson (Norma), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, her church family, and dear friends who were blessed by her loving presence.
Preceded in Death
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Jackson Marshall, and Gene Jackson; brothers Colonel Jackson, James Jackson, and Robert Jackson; sisters Jessie Mae Harris and Sofronia Bradley; and her daughter-in-law, Annette Jackson.
Service Arrangements
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by Funeral Services at 12:30 p.m. at Green Acres Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Avenue, Bloomington, CA 92316, with Pastor Harry Lee Bratton officiating.
Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington, California. The repast will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Greater Faith Grace Bible Church, 249 E. Randall Ave., Rialto, CA 92376.
Memorials Donations in memory of Zerline Robinson may be made to the Children’s Defense Fund or St Jude Children’s Hospital.
