Aaron Westerfield

He was born February 26, 1930 in Fogger Town, KY, son of Dewey Hugh and Lillie Fields Westerfield. He married Mayme Lush in 1949, she preceded him in death in 2003. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Westerfield; son, Doug Westerfield and two twin grandchildren and his close companion, Christine Penn.

Surviving are three daughters, Melody “Sue” (Wayne) James and Melanie Westerfield, both of Bloomington and Cathy Penn of Stockport, IA; five sons, Robert (Linda) Westerfield of Salem, MO, John Penn of Hudson, Charles Westerfield, Donald C. Westerfield and John (Patricia) Daugherty, all of Bloomington. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two sister, Loretta Bryant and Le Etta Brockway, both of Bloomington.

Aaron enjoyed fishing and was a NASCAR fan. He worked as an electrician, last working at OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday June 4, 2012 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded and arrangements have been entrusted to East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, IL.
