Over The Fence...

Ada was my neighbor for over 30 years. She was my mama's age. I can't tell you how many encouraging wonderful chats we had through the years over the fence. She always had a smile and was kind and humble. She watched as my now 27 year old daughter grew up over that fence. I could always tell when Ada was out and about in the yard. I would hear a happy little voice yell over the fence ... "Hi Miss Ada" and Ada would happily stroll over to the fence and make a fuss over Hannah. We were blessed to have shared a small part of our lives with her. Goodbye for now Miss Ada you were a constant peace in our lives. I know you are home in heaven and rejoicing ! Janet and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you all.

Norma and I were so sorry to hear that Aunt Ada had passed. I remember the first time I met Aunt Ada. I was about 10 years old, over at Grandma Gilmore's and she told me to be nice because my Uncle Bob was bringing his girl home. We will always remember her smile. She was such a fine lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Earl Wayne

I could not add this to what I shared about Ada earlier, but wanted to share that I love the pictures of Ada and all of you as her precious family. You had a beautiful mother, Grandmother, and friend with Ada beside you in life. Thank you for sharing your own memories (pictures) of sweet Ada...
My tears fall.

Ada, such a sweet beautiful heart and woman of God. I shall always treasure having our paths cross in life. We met Ada as she attended functions at Victory Christian. We oftentimes would run into Ada when Mark and I went to our local Burger King nearby. So we would eat together during those times. She always knew how to encourage you as a person. She loved sharing about our Jesus. Always wearing a huge smile. She was such a kind, gentle, kindhearted beautiful woman. She was an inspiration to my heart.
My life became richer for meeting Ada Gilmore. I shall always value those moments of memory in talking to her.
