Our deepest condolences to Robert, Rachel, Anna. We are very, very sad to hear about the sudden passing of Leah. We were so warmly greeted by her in their South Carolina home, in the summer of 1995, when they were expecting Rachel. Long time since then, but we are remembering vividly the love and humor Leah was radiating. Year after year, we enjoyed her heartfelt writings, and admired photos that kept us updated on how their family was growing and what beautiful places they were seeing ... Rest in peace, Leah!

You used to start our long conversations with "Ok, Cami, start saying!..."
All I can say is that there is not a day that goes by and I don't think about you.
I miss u terribly Leah!

Dear Leah's family:
We're thinking of you today and remembering Leah's birthday. Rachel and Anna are with me in the Alps, everything is going well, we enjoy skiing in the midst of beautiful landscapes. We had a moment of sadness tonight but talked a long time about God, Jesus and heaven. I have so many good memories to share.
Love and peace, Christine

Last winter I was given an extraordinary opportunity to visit Leah, Robert, and the girls in France. I was extremely excited since it was my first time out of the country and I would be spending both Christmas and New Year's with them. I would usually only get to spend a short time with Leah, but this time I was given ample opportunity to enjoy her company. There were several occasions in which I had a one-on-one conversations with her, and we would discuss politics, family, our day out on the ski slopes, or just sit around joking and talking in silly French accents. I got to know the beautiful, fun, and brilliant sides of Leah, and I know her presence always brought out a lighter, more fun side of any situation. That vacation was easily one of the best times of my life, and is the way I will remember Leah.

I'll never forget what it feels like to be in your company. My young adult life is filled with so many memories that include you, whether we were dancing until we were exhausted, laughing until we lost badder control, or just having a good chat. Thank you for being my friend all these years. You have truly enriched my life. Be at peace. Love, Barb
